Is Bleeding A Bad sign

I'm only 3 Weeks pregnant i experience some spotting here and there it isnt enought to soak a pantyliner,and i only see the blood after wiping when i've gone to the bathroom. I've had the transvaginal ultrasound done and im not ectopically pregnant. I'm so freaked whenever i see it.

hey! i am having spotting too, i was having cramping but none today, i didnt know it was bad to have cramping in early pregnancy either i thought it was quite common. i havent tested yet so im not sure but i think we might both have implantation bleeding. AF isnt due for me until 4/28. anyway congratulations on your pregnancy, it sounds like youve been through a lot here lately. hope you can find everything you need here, support, advice, etc. =0)

good for you for being able to lose all that weight.  i am in desperate need of weight loss.

but as far as the bleeding, did oyu ahve the doctor run your hcg levels yet.  have them do them 2 times in one week and you will get a better understanding if the pregnancy is goig well.

you might also have the corpus lytum (not sure if it is spelt that way) cyst too but thats a good thing cause it helps with producing progesterone.

It is a dermoid cyst!! and it is quite large!!! I used 2 c/o stomach pains years ago frequently, had lots of test run they never found anything,then i dropped over 150lbs, and the pains went away, then recently i dropped more weight ,and they started again,then the same day i found out i was pregnant!!!

Hi tia,

did the doctor tell you what kind of cyst he thought it was?  cause when you get pregnant your body usually makes a cysts, called like a corpus something or another, and that helps produce hormones at the beginning stages.  was it that kidn of cyst or one that can be harmful?

if your last period was in March, it would make you about 6 weeks.  it is real funny how pregnancy is dated.  you are technically gearing up each period for pregnancy, so they count you being pregnant prior to you actually getting pregnant.

i remember first time i was pregnant i found out really fast, at the 4 week mark and told my mom i was four weeks along and she yelled at me that how did i not know for a whole month i was pregnant.  i had to explain to her that 2 weeks are tacked on to it, so really i was only 2 weeks along as when the sperm and egg met.

what did the doctor say the next step is?  people can see heartbeats as early as 6 weeks so maybe you should have him do an ultrasound again soon.

I know with in Canada, you only go by the LMP untill you are given an EDD. So she could be 3 weeks past conception which would be 5-6 weeks using LMP.

Also blood work can give you decent idea based on the levels.
