PREGNANT and HAVE A 2 1/2 month old

Ok, So here is the deal.
I gave birth to my daughter 2 1/2 months ago by c-section. I started my first cycle on May 2nd. I want to know if your cycles go back to normal after having a baby once you start it? My husband and I dont use birth control because of how long it took me to get pregnant with our baby (6 years). I am going to buy a pregnancy test tomorrow. I just dont know what to think, I dont have signs of AF showing up. 4 days ago I did a pregnancy test and I swear I seen the faintest line on the pregnancy test, but my husband said he didnt see it. But today would make it 28 days after my period. If I am pregnant can there be problems with the pregnancy because of the c-section? HELP.. i will update this in the morning when i do my pregnancy test..

OMG! I would be happy to find out I was pregnant again on my own. That would mean that I wouldnt have to pay to see a fertility doctor again or take the meds to get pregnant. If I am pregnant I am getting my tubes tied after this baby. Our plan of action in the beginning was to try when my daughter was 6 months old. However as you can see we didnt wait. I am so nervous to take a test. I am not going to tell my family if I am pregnant again until I am like 7 months. Only because I dont want to hear rude comments from them. I mean I enjoy being a mom and being pregnant. I was so happy to be able to get pregnant with my daughter after 6 years and two different doctors. I would count it as a blessing. Just say if I am not pregnant and then it takes me 6 years again to get pregnant I would be upset. I would rather use our money to buy baby items instead of paying a dang doctor to help me get pregnant. I will so let you girls know what the test says, but if it says NO then I will go on the patch until my baby is a year old.

Its possible. It took me almost 2 years to get pregnant with #3 so when we were ttc #4 we started right away. My last 2 babies were 11 months apart!!! So yes its possible I found out I was pregnant when my little guy was 3 months old:)

Hmm...it's hard to say either way, but to be safe you should assume it could happen everytime. Good luck, and I hope you get the answer you're wanting!

I dont breastfeed. I told hubby if my pregnancy test comes back negative then I am going to go on the patch. Honestly if I am pregnant then that would be weird because I couldnt get pregnant without meds. CLOMID and prometrium. My cycles were always 28 days apart like clock work. I will keep you updated. I had my cycle right at 6 weeks.

There can be indeed. It's dangerous to get pregnant so soon after. Even for a vaginal birth you're recommended to wait. For a c-section you should put at minimum 6 months between birth, but 1-2 years is more commonly recommended.

As for when your cycles go back to normal, it really depends on if you breastfeed or not, and how your cycles were before. It's normal for your body to take some time to get regular again. Some women get their cycles back right away, others don't. I would test and/or see a doctor if you're unsure. It would also be good to use protection so that it doesn't happen before you're both ready.
