Is it a good thing to do??

Is it a good thing to take prenatal vitamin pills if your trying to get pregnant??

Here's from Wikipedia:  The risk of neural tube defects is significantly reduced when supplemental folic acid is consumed in addition to a healthy diet before conception and during the first month after conception. Supplementation with folic acid has also been shown to reduce the risk of congenital heart defects, cleft lips, limb defects, and urinary tract anomalies.

So you can see it's important!  :)

It's important, since if you haven't had enough folic acid in your system in the three months prior to pregnancy, your baby can be born with a birth defect.  Definitely take extra folic acid at the least, or else take a prenatal that has it in it.

Yea they help a lot I had troubles then started taking them in June and July got pregnant

Yes. Mine even say before, during, & after pregnancy on them. The folic acid & other vitamins can actually help with fertility. Plus when you do conceive the baby is already receiving the vitamins it needs even before you know you're pregnant.
