Anything less than a 5 for hCg is considered negative anything above 25 isconsidered positive so you could of had a level of 10 where its above the negative but still below positive. They have these standards on blood tests bc a lot of pregnancies end in m/c before you even knew you were pregnant the egg gets fertilized but does notging else. They also have those standards bc certain things can make you have a slightly elevated beta hCg level. My first hCg level was 7 so they wouldnt give me a yes or no just had me re check 48 hrs later and it was a 30 so they knew i was pregnant. Your level should double every 48-72 hrs. So id go back and request Another blood test two days after your last draw. Or wait a couple days and take a pg test w first morning urine if its positive then you know your levels are rising. In case your unsure hCg is the hormone your body produces when pregnant it starts off super low and goes up really high the further along you are! Best of luck;)
i would think so but that is strange for them to say that..it looks like with him being a dr he would know if you are pregnant or not..i swear these dr's these days are confusing lol can you take a home test and see what the results are
No. Not all tests are yes and no. The test they did was a beta blood draw. They were checking to see what your levels were at. I'm assuming they were above 5 or at least close to it if they were saying it was more toward the positive side. Did they say they were going to do more draws, or tell you to follow up with a doctor?
