i took 2 pregnancy tests, one yesterday and one when i woke up today and they both are positiive, my period was due on the 17th, so my question is, i keep cramping, is that normal if i really am pregnant, i am still doubtful, i have been trying for almost 5 years.

thanks to all of you and your support, its just so hard, i have lost so many babies, and i am just so scared to loose this one. i didnt even think i was pregnant because i was getting cramps, and then my mom said you should get a test and i was like im cramping, my period is coming, so i took the test to make her happy and it was a BFP. i was in shock, and i didnt believe, so i went out and bought different brands and they all had a BFP. im just still in shock. so Monday i have to try to get a dr appt, to make sure all is good

Congrats!!! Cramping in early pregnancy can be completely normal. I had a lot of cramping and I still do even now and I'm 13 1/2 weeks. Like the other ladies said, it's usually only concerning if you have cramping and bleeding together and really bad back pain. But congrats! And I hope everything continues smoothly for you! Keep us posted. =)

I was cramping so bad the day I tested I was getting ready to go to the store and buy a box of tampons. I just found an old test and took it for kicks.

Cramping is okay a little spotting is okay, just watch out for cramping and spotting at the same time. Congrats on your pregnancy and best of luck.

congratulations, you really are...false positives are very rare on their own so i doubt you'd have 2 in a row. some cramping is normal. if you have any bleeding however, you need medical attention
