Is it ok to speed up the process?

As many of you know I'm scheduled for a C-Section on the 8th of June, also that I have gone into preterm labor a couple of times and have been having contractions today and I THINK my water is leaking but I'm not positive. Would is be safe/OK to speed up the process by TRYING to have sex with my husband?

I've had two previous ones the first due to complications and the second cause I had my first one.in less then a year before conceiving again so it wasn't said to do a VBAC

As long as they check and your cervix isn't open, you're good to go:)

Idk why it posted so.many times sorry. And my Dr and nurse both are outta the office. My nurse. Comes back tomorrow and my Dr Thursday, the other Drs nurse told me to wait it out and if it is in fact leaking not to worry unless contractions speed up or I have a gush of fluid.
Thanks you guys :)

Darn it lol I figured that but was hoping differently. I see the Dr Thursday and may end up going into L&D tomorrow if the contractions don't stop, even if they don't get closer, just since they are so.consistent. So if I ask them to check and see if its my water and it isn't and they send me home still having contractions, THEN is it OK?

You need to talk to your doctor as leaking fluid can cause infection and you need to be careful. When I leaked with my first I was admitted right away and put on penicillin.

If your water's broke, even leaking you shouldn't just to avoid infection. I'd try other things though to try to speed it up. Shouldn't they take you with you leaking even if you're not in full blown out labor though? I know it reproduces, itself but why would they wait so long just to cut you open anyways?

If your waters leaking/broke you shouldn't have sex. Can cause infection
