Do I call the MD????

So last night when I went to bed I was laying on my left side trying to fall asleep.  Well for some reason I went to move or stretch (not sure because I was almost asleep) and I got this horrible stabbing pain in my left groin area.  It almost felt like I pulled a muscle.  It then lightly went across the top of my pubic bone and went away.  I have not felt any pains since then.  I have read a few things and they said it can be from round ligament pain but I am only about 5 weeks.  Is it normal for me to feel this now?  Is it possible I just pulled a muscle from moving too fast?  Do I call the MD?  Oh and I forgot to mention there is no bleeding.

Thanks ladies for answering my.  Well I did start to spot when I went to work (I work at a doctors office) so I talked to my provider there.  She told me to call my OB provider and she would order bloodwork or whatever they wanted.  When I called they actually told me to come into their office which scared me.  I am thinking it was more due to the pain then anything else.  By the time I went to my visit the spotting had stopped but they still wanted to see me anyway.  He did an internal and said he didn't see any active bleeding and my cervix was closed.  He did say my uterus was a little more stretched out then should be for as many weeks as I am (only about 5).  So he sent me for some more bloodwork and I am just waiting for the results.  He also scheduled me for an Ultrasound on Friday just to make sure everything is ok and it's not ectopic (didn't do it today because he wasn't sure if my levels would have been high enough).  So I feel better now that I went to see him but will feel much better once I get my results back.  Thank you again it's my first pregnancy and don't know what is normal and not normal.  Good luck.

Seems too soon. Maybe you just had an unrelated muscle cramp. If you are not feeling anymore pain and most importantly not bleeding anymore, I think you are ok
