What is a subchronic hematoma?

Ok so most of you know what is going on with me. If not here s a quick update. I am 5 weeks pg and 4 days ago I started bleeding, only the 1st night t was heavy. By the morning it was light. Went to the Dr.'s that morning and she could not say it was a m/c because my cervix was closed and my uterus still looked pg. She sent me to check my beta, and I go again today. She put me on bed rest till tuesday which is my appt. My Dr.'s offiice is dumb and will not tell me the results till that appt. which of course has me on pins and needles. As of today there is no more bleeding occasionally when I wipe there is pinkish mucousy stuff on the tp. I do not have no more cramps since the 1st night and have not passed clots. Of course I still feel pg and my symptoms are getting worse. I have taken 2 pg tests and both are 100% positive! No change in color. Now I have had 3 m/c before and the symptoms started to taper off once the bleeding stopped and the hpt's all started to get lighter. So naturally I am getting my hopes up a lil' bit!!! My question is has any one had a subchronic hematoma at 5 weeks??? That is what  I have come up with while researching. If so what was your experience's with it????? Please let me know!!

With my first son I had a hematoma.  I bleed and spotted from 6-15 weeks.  They determined that via ultrasound.  Everything turned out ok my son is now 8.  I know bleeding is super scary but it doesnt always mean gloom and doom.  I know its hard not to automatically think the worst. (I have had 2 m/c so I understand why) Try to stay focused on the positive things, cervix closed and still having symptoms.  Good luck to you keep us posted.

I meant my last pregnancy

At 5 weeks during my last period I started bleeding bright red, worse than a period. That continued almost everyday for 5 weeks straight and then one day stopped completely. My levels still doubled and I had all the pregnancy symptoms. Best thing to do would be to get an ultrasound to determine if that is what is causing the bleeding.
