Is there such thing as too much baby movement?!

I'm 40+6 and I kid you not this boy has moved more in the past 3 hours then my entire pregnancy!!! It's 1:40am here in TX and I'm soooo exhausted but he won't stop! And he keeps pushing on my bladder so I've peed literally 6 times in the past hour and a half. Advice please?! How do I get him to calm down?! And should I be worried he's moving so much?? Please advice!

A very active baby is good! You can get on your hands and knees it'll move him around or if you have a birthing ball sit on thst and rotate your hips should help

I was able to get him to calm down and fell asleep for 2 hours. I woke up having to (tmi) pee and poop, while I push I started contracting, then I finished and wiped and I actually just had my "bloody show" too. And getting contractions! I'm just timing them! (: fingers crossed for me ladies!!!!

I think you are in labor. With my first pregnancy, I had no clue what labor was. I was complaining to my husband that the baby was moving too much, and it was painful.  As he continued moving and the pain got worse, it dawned on me that I was in labor. He was born several hours later. God bless!

I would actually call when that happens. My doctor told me that after 30 weeks if the baby starts move a lot more than normal the baby could be in distress. Good luck!

Ladybeeley that usually helps me to but I've been trying to lay on my side and hold my belly and it will not work, and it usually does! It's so odd cause he's never been so active. Not even if I had a small amount of dr pepper is he ever this active. I'm glad I'm not the only one though!

I could only hope it was labor. /: I'm not having contractions and I had an appt today and I was still barely a centimeter. I mean I know I can go from a 1 to a 7 in mere hours but asides from his ridiculous moving around I have no other signs of labor/: I think I'll probably end up take that bath and try it cause he is not stopping his ninja moves. He's never been this active throughout my pregnancy! Blah!

Im not as far as you, but mine moves A LOT lol I swear I have a somersaulter in here. I had a few doctors tell me lots of movement meant a really healthy pregnancy.I was worried about too much movement too. For me if I rub my tummy and lay on my side it usually settles down.

Do you think maybe his coming and its the start of labor. try to take a hot both and relax. my cousin use to do this a lot because her boy would kick non stop and she would relax in the bathtub and he would calm down. you never know maybe he is coming soon! :)

I Heard They Usually Move Alot Before They Get Ready To Come. & Considering You're Past Your Due Date. That Could Be What's Happening.
