Is this a preeclampsia sign?

Ladies I've had headaches on and off throughout this pregnancy but the past 2 days i've had this awful headache that had me feeling lightheaded. I've taken Tylenol drank water took naps and its still there. I had high blood pressure towards the end of my last pregnancy but that was 8 years ago I don't remember if the headaches were the beginning if it. I don't have any swelling just dizziness nausea and this awful headache. Im going to call my doctor but I wanted to go to the pharmacy and check my blood pressure first. Can preeclampsia start with just a headache and if I had it with my first pregnancy does it mean im st higher risk with the second.

You could also be dehydrated, if i drink less then 5 glasses of water a day I'm getting headaches and leg cramps.

Your blood pressure can change very quickly! I would call just to see if they'd want to see you. I was talking to my midwife and if you have a frontal headache that won't go away after tylenol and another symptom of preeclampsia then you should contact them right away.

My.pressure was normal im so worried can it fluctuate to different high and low extremes? I go back to the doctor in Friday for my 35 week check up.

I've had migraines through my entire pregnancy! My doctor prescribed me Fioricet...its been a life saver!

It can be, but you can also just have really bad headaches pregnant as well. It's definitely worth calling and talking to your doctor about, especially if you have vision changes or anything else happen.

It sounds like its the start of pre eclamsia but I would call ur dr and get ur blood pressure checked as soon as u can

Call your dr right away if you have any questions. Its the best thing to do.
