Is this implanation bleeding?

My cycle started on 8/4, 9/4 and 10/4 but, for the month of Nov. it started early on 10/31 since this was so close to Nov. I counted this as my Nov. period. On the 19th of Nov. I spotted for 1 day. Very light pink with slight cramping and nothing else. I found out I had a UTI on this same day. So I was thinking that maybe that was the cause of it but, I read that a UTI does not make you spot. I am really worried because I have never spotted before my period. According to my calculations I should have been ovulating around this time. Thanks for any advice that could help me ease my mind. :)

Cylces that vary between 24 and 36 days are considered normal.  Mine vary anywhere between 28 and 36.  So don't be alarmed by that early Nov. bleeding.

You're right, an UTI doesn't cause spotting, but it can cause blood in the urine.  I take it you ruled this out.  Spotting can occur just before ovulation, and is considered one of the fertility signs.  The body produces a surge of estrogen just before ovulation.  Because there's not enough progesterone in the system yet to sustain the lining, there may be some breakthrough spotting.  This may happen infrequently, too, depending on how your body produces hormone levels for that cycle.  Don't be alarmed.

I would get a test just to be absolutely positive you are not pregnant. If you are, you need to know sooner rather then later because of the importnat prenatal care you and your baby need.
