I went into my apartment yesterday and smelt a terrible odor that was coming through my vents. It made the air of my apartment bitter and stale. It smelt terrible like a bunch of burning things mixed. I have smelt this before in a neighborhood that a drug dealer use to cook crank. Could this be what I think? Should I worry to be in the same apartment complex? I contacted the apartment manager and told her of my suspicions. I was not the only to smell it either

Thank you both. I am 25 weeks pregnant. I will definitely make sure the manager is staying on top of it. I'm glad to say I found a house to move into on September 1st. :)

Agreed. You need to take care of you and baby as inhaling that is no good for either of you. If you smell it again call the police or fire department and they will do a well being check toare sure there are no "fires" or dangerous chemicals around. They actually have equipment that they walk around with that can detect certain things. Good luck.

I would open your windows and throw fans on...or stay somewhere until the occupants that are creating that smell are gone. Call the police if the manager hasn't done anything about it...you're pregnant right? Those chemicals are no good for you
