Just ask your partner to sit on a chair and you need to sit on the ground  by holding chair with both of your hands and keep your feet about a foot away from each other. In case you know it is just like sitting on indian toilet but with the support of chair hands.By doing this you will feel pressure on your stomach and it helps to make way for baby to go down (explained by my Doc).If you get tired then get up and do it again after a few minutes.

I dont know how good i was in explaining ,in case you did not understand you can ask me.

Walking has nothing to do with baby having birth defects or not,i am shocked who told you this, completely untrue.

walking is good but you should not exhaust yourself.even my doc has asked me to walk and do some sitting exercies as it helps baby to go down and labor becomes easy.

No I don't think that is true cause people have bedrest and there baby is fine. I don't walk a lot cause I'm a stay at home mom and was with my first but unless doc says to I wouldn't just sit for no reason.  Good thing is maybe u can sleep since u excercise a lot.
