Oops, didn't finish!  Anyway, I was just going to add eat a lot of whole foods.  Also, regularly consuming raw honey is a great way to prevent asthma, although baby can't have it until 1 year.  Also, breast feed as long as you can.

It's possible, but you can reduce the chance by continuing to not smoke, don't use strong household chemicals, don't burn candles, eat al

Yes there is a greater chance baby will. Asthma is genetic. My middle baby has asthma bad, and only time will tell if my youngest does as well.

He might. But not necessarily. You'll need to look into it when baby gets older

astma is a herreditey it could be a big chance that your baby will have it but not always the case ... i am a mild astmatic myself (tend to have attacks if in really bad weather conditions and my chest is exposed to the cold air or if i have over worked my body in excercise there the only times i seemed to have had an attack) my mother is non astmatic but my dad is a heavy astmatic n i have a 5 year old son who is mild astmatic (same as me) but his dad dosnt, my nan (dads mother) was non astmatic and my grandad (dads dad) was mild astmatic ... my other nan (mums mum) was heavy astmatic, n cnt say for my mothers dad as didnt no him niether didnt no who her father was "/ ... so it is herreditry as my docs told me this themself when going through family history with my first son.... go to your midwife or doc and they will be able to explain his better for you :) from my experience it is scary when it happens to your child but with you having it yourselfs you will no what to look out fpr and u can keep on top of it and everythin will be ok :) hope this has helped x

I have it but my son doesn't.

From what I've read and researched, it seems the best chance you can give your baby to not get asthma is to have a vaginal birth and be very careful with immunizations (not any, or wait as long as possible before getting them and don't do "combo" ones, just one at a time).
