Nervous about after baby.

Okay hello mommies and mommies to be,
I am 25 weeks pregnant and even though I have a ways to go till my first baby is physically in my arms I have some concerns about my physical appearance after she is here. I was in great shape before I conceived. Sadly though due to being a high risk pregnancy I had to stop my workout ritual. So I'm pretty sure after this baby comes I will not be able to run those three miles every day like I use too. I know my body will be different after I have her but I am nervous to how different it could be. I guess I am just looking for some comfort. Have any of you after a baby, gain weight but then worked it off again? When can you start working out after the baby if its natural birth?
Thanks mommas,
Ashley Jane

Well I never breast feed, so took me 5 months to go back to size5 and a year after my baby was born I had my six pack back and size 3.
I love to work out! And I start working out again a month after my babies were born.

I was only 105lbs when I got pregnant with my son 13yrs ago. I gained almost 70lbs while I was pregnant (like 67lbs) and although breastfeeding and exercise helped me lose weight I never got back to my pre pregnancy weight. I made it down to 135lbs which was fine with me because I was a little too skinny before. Now i'm 24weeks and have already gained 30lbs so needless to say I have some work to do when this baby gets here! You'll be fine mama ;)

Do you plan to breastfeed?
If so your body will bounce back much quicker as well as loosing all the extra weight. You burn approx 750 calories breastfeeding my nurse said.
And I always do personally this will be my third child.
I haven't much time for gym or anything. But I start out at 110 go up to 125-130 and within 4-5 months I am back to looking normal.
I would say after your first 6 weeks it should be safe for a workout.
