Kinda stressing

Question

So I just got out of my doctor's appointment and I told him that I had bad contractions last night. He did some swab tests, then checked to see if I was dialated. He said I wasn't, but my son's head was low. I'm getting the results on Monday, but he said if they come out positive for something than I'll have to be on bed rest. So my question is, are there any moms who have toddlers and are on bed rest? I don't know how I'll be able to do it since my husband is always working and we have no family here. -sorry it's so long.

Thanks ladies! I already home school her, so I know she loves that. I'm thinking of buying some arts and crafts from like Michael's, do you guys think that'll be a good idea? I don't really like her watching tv unless I feel like I'm dying lol

I was put on bedrest for two weeks about a month ago. I have a 4 year old who is autistic. So he's a little bit more of a handful. It's definitely possible though. Lots of movies and mess free activities are life saving. I hope everything is ok girl!

I was on bedrest for 10 weeks and had my 3.5 year old. My parents and my hubbys parents live here so they helped out a ton. You just have to do what is best for baby. My son was old enough to understand that mommy couldbt do anything on the days he was home.

My mom was on bed rest with my little brother and I was like 3. She said she would put coloring books, puzzles, and games with in reach, and have movies to watch. I think its more about your kid if they don't mind reading and puzzles i will probably be simpler.
