I'm sorry, I should have said pre labor symptoms/signs. Thank you :-) Do you know/remember if your munchkin was more active before going into labor or did he/she calm down a bit to get into position/create energy reserves (Idk)/etc...?
Losing your mucus plug is the same as the bloody show. I wouldn't really call it a sign. Some women lose it months before. Also, usually there is less fetal movement during labor because the contractions are squeezing and pushing them down. You really know it is time if you have cramps, contractions, and low back pain that comes in waves. It doesn't go away, and gets stronger and closer together. Also, as you approach that time, you might get diarrhea and vomiting. The body likes to purge itself of extra food because it knows what's coming.
Increase in headaches?
I've recently been experiencing more headaches, states in my eyes, a breakout after clear skin for several months, and then several of the more common symptoms (I feel like 'symptoms' is the wrong term): cramping, back pain, increased urination, contractions, fetal movements, and NO energy. Now I'm 36+4 so I know I'm nearing the end of my pregnancy, but I'm wondering if these could be indicators that I'm closer than anticipated. (Could baby boy be ready to arrive within the week (I hope not) or is this normal of a full forty week pregnancy?)
I'm sorry if this falls into the "Annoying FTM Question" category, I'm simply curious...
