Girrrrlllll you better wear the hospital gown....... you'll ruin the cute one. Blood, guys and juices everywhere, not to mention the yucky smell that will stain your gown

I agree with the other ladies here. You really get so messy during labor. Theres all kinds of gels, blood, and sweat that will get on your gown. I stood up after birth and blood was everywhere. I showered and then I changed right back into a hospital gown because I was still bleeding pretty heavy the next day and didn't want to ruin my nighties I brought.

Sweetie, the hospital gown, while not pretty is very functional.  Having a baby is messy business.  You'll have blood everywhere.  They in fact, change what you wear during labor after to a clean gown.  And you bleed for a while.  I recommend wearing the hospital gown the entire time while in the hospital.  My hospital recommends it.  I brought a cute gown to the birth of my first son (for after labor) and never put it on.  The only thing I was wear of mine were my socks and I threw those away before I left the hospital (spots of blood on every pair). When you stand after giving birth, you gush a good deal of blood.  You don't wear underwear, you wear this thing the hospital provides that is like a nylon pair with the legs cut off with pads in it.  You are still a patient when giving birth.  :>)  good luck

Lol @ bum gap gowns haha however u do know that ur bottom will be bare for the labour right? Lol so even if u wear ur maternity nighty you would have to pull it up high above ur belly! I woyld recomment u wear the hospital one and as soon as u had ur baby and got cleaned up u can change to ur maternity one :) thats what im planning to do hopefully
