your still cramping because you are still expelling the baby from your body. I dont know a whole lot about the abortion pills but I know that the cramping and bleeding can last quite a while. If the pain is excruciating then you need to go to the ER but most likely the pill is just doing what its suppose to. Best of Luck
Well it was my option for the abortion pill the 2nd pill I took on thurs I started cramping and bleeding the same day. What I dont understand is it normal to be still cramping again???
Well, you need to take the pill exactly as directed. If the pain is excruciating, you need to go to the ER immediately. Forcing a pregnancy out of your body is GOING to hurt...your uterus has to work extra hard to expel the fetus and tissue, and it's going to be painful, but if it's unbearable, something may be going on that needs attention from a doctor.
I think maybe more info would be helpful. How far along were/are you? Is this an optional abortion, or are you taking the pill because you miscarried? They gave me the pill Cytoteq when I miscarried in 2007 to help me pass the tissue, and it's the same sort of pill that they frequently prescribe to women in the first trimester who are opting to abort, and I can tell you that it was quite painful.
The farther along you were, the more it will hurt, because the more your body needs to pass. But if the cramping isn't TOO bad, just continue to take the medicine as it was prescribed....but go to the ER if it becomes excruciating or you begin to bleed out of control.
