Lead results back
So I just got my results back form my lead test since I was exposed to lead pain being sanded in our home. My levels are 3. The hospital says you shouldnt worry if they are less than 10 but I have read many studies and stuff that say that no level of lead is safe for a baby. It says that it can damage their IQ and stuff. Im so worried and confused. What should I do?
I dont know. My OB told me to go see her on monday. So i will ask then. I will let you know.
Is there any sort of medication that you could take to get those levels down to 0? Because you are right, no level is safe. There aren't enough studies (because they can't experiment on humans) to support that any level is safe.
id just keep following up with the doctor is that would ease your mind. if they feel you are safe and the baby is safe then take a deep breath and relax! im sure everything will be just fine.
