Manual vs Electric
I'm planning on breastfeeding my son. I'm trying to figure out what type of breast pump to get, a manual or electric. Any of you ladies breastfeeding? What type of breast pump are you getting?
I would not recommend manual! I had one and it took forever just to get a little milk out and it hurt really bad, it turned my nipples purple!
Definitely electric! Medela is a very good brand. If your going to be pumping alot I would get a double pump. They're a bit pricey though. Mine was around 300.
Depends on what you're using it for. If you're going back to work I would go for a high grade electric pump but if you're mostly going to be home a manual pump should work fine.
Electric is great it does all the work and you can just sit back but Manuel has you work a lil and most states medcaid covers a Manuel pump
