can i be induced at 40weeks?
Is it ok to ask to be induced at 40weeks? I'm still @2cm and I am getting desperate :( help pls!
I'm just afraid baby will be very big by 41-42 weeks and would be hard to let the baby out :(
With your first baby most doctors wont induce until 41 wks.
With my first they waited till 42 wks. I was still completely closed and labor took forever. Im 37 wks and they are inducing me at 39 wks this time.

Thank u..I might have to ask my Dr tom at appointment. This is wearing me out. And I don't want the baby to gain more weight and will end up on a c section..my Dr told me induction may have some complications and will end up in c section which is what I'm avoiding..but I am hoping my contractions will kick in sooner!!
Its up to ur doc mine is going by the book and u have to 41 wks to be induced... not unless sumthing is wrong.. i am in the same boat i am 40 wks and 3 days and i am getting induced mon at 41 wks... i cant take anymore.. i dont know if i can wait till then i am going to talk to her bout tom or sat..
