Anybody ever gotten pregnant on the pill?

Has anyone ever gotten pregnant on the pill?  If so, did you faithfully take it at the same time or was it sporadic?  Also, what pill did you take when you got pregnant?

I was on Marvelon and fell pregnant. I took it at around the same time every day and had been on BC for 5 years.

I got pregnant twice taking birth control. First time I was on Yasmin and the second I was on the patch. But I have some problems with birth control as well. Usually every kind I try messes my cycles up... I tend to take it and have a period that never ends.

My SIL was on the pill for 16 yrs,she never took it at the same time, she even missed a couple of days and such. she switched every so often and this last time she had been on ortho try cycln for like 2 yrs and she is now 8 months preggo. I've had been on otho cept for 6 yrs and never got pregnant. I quit it in Sept of 07 and got preggo in feb 08, mc in feb 08 and am now preggo again. I think it just depends on the pill and also on your body.

The pill is only like 99% effective IF used properly....So it's certainly possible.

i was on ortho-try-cycln with my 1st son and i took it faithfully...i was on it for 3 yrs as well prio to getting pregnant...so for some it doesnt work.

My best friend got Pregnant on the pill...(she was on ortho tricylcln) sp? but she was horrible at taking it, I'm sure she missed a few days here and there. But I have another friend who was also on it and took it faithfully (with an alarm and everything) and she got Pregnant...she had an abortion but she definitely got Pregnant. On the other hand I was on Ortho for almost 8 years, and I wasn't horrible at taking it but I definitely missed days and didn't take it like clockwork and I never got Pregnant. So its possible either way!

It would be nice to have a baby!  I'm just a little nervous about the pill.  I haven't had good experience with it and am really wanting to get off hormonals.  I have BABY FEVER right now but want to be married when I have children.  It's just weird to think that something that is supposed to prevent pregnancy doesn't always do what it should.

I got pregnant with my first pregnancy ( which unfourtunally ended in a miscarriage). I took my pill the same time everyday at the excact same time. I even set my cell phone alarm. I was on Lowesterin and had only taken that kind for a few months. I never used the birthcontrol until that time so I could regulate my peroids for 6 months and was planning on trying to get pregnant. When I miscarried I did not continue to take the pills and found out I was yet agian pregnant 4 weeks later. Are you wanting a baby?
