I've been brown spotting and i never get this...

I'm a little confused as to what's going on with my period. On August, I got my period on the 11th; it was a regular period which i get for four days. The next month on September, I end up getting my period on the 8th. I didn't find this too weird because sometimes i get my period a couple of days earlier. For the month of October, I waited to get my period on the 8th, but nothing came. I kept waiting to get my period but i didn't get nothing for the month of October. On November 4, I ended up brown spotting. I never brown spot before my period and i had this going on for at least 4 days. then i end up getting blood but it was very light like if my period was just ending. I'm just a little confused with this because i never get my period acting this way. I've been sexually active for the past 3 years and i never got pregnant with my boyfriend. I also recently visited my gynecologist but she says that that's normal if i'm on the pill. I haven't been the pill since the beginning of august; i just stopped using it. she also says that i was not ovulating on september or october... can someone please help me with this? I really need answers.
Thank You

I agree with spade22, take an hpt test to see if there is a chance you have conceived.  But it can take the body a while to adjust to not using bc pills even if it was for a few months.  I hope you get the results you want and remeber a pregnancy can be longer than most people expect, i'm now 30 months ttc with no joy and both my partner and i have no fertility problems.  i wish you the best of luck!!!

Its not uncommon to have a few "off" cycles once in awhile.  Its also possible your body is readjusting to coming off the pill a few months ago - it may take several months to regulate.  Finally, if you arent on birth control you might consider taking a HPT to see if pregnancy is a possibility.
