4 days left and im still waaaaaaaaiting...this was the longest month of my life I should say...
Hahaha yeah we ended up babysitting tonight, but got to watch BGT, it was quite good lol x
Oh my dog gets spoiled here too but jst loves goin to her grans lol. She gets depressed wen she comes bak home lol. so much for stayin in, nd to drive to glasgow to drop ma dads thngs he left. Silly bugger lol. beter b bak in time for britans got talent lol x
I know, thats about all thats keeping me going at the moment is that if nothing else, I'll be getting induced in 3 days lol. Haha absolutely, sometimes its nice to have girl-time lol. It ***** knowing you have two weeks extra that you may have to endure before you get to hold babba :/ Lol well BD comes out with me when I take dog, because she is a GSD so is dead strong. Mostly she os off the lead but if we see another dog coming we pop her on, cause the route we take is a 4 mile circular route but it's dead quiet so its perfect for her, and she can pull as still in the puppy stage and wants to play with every dog she sees, so he comes with for when she has to go on the lead lol. she gets spoiled rotten by us though, every day is a play day for her x
Its another day closer to tuesday tho. So thats always gd. Im lookin forward to wed to hav a scan and see a big baby lookin bak at me lol. Yeah its gd to hav a catch up with th girls. They txt me all th time askin if iv had any twinges or tht yet lol. Iv still got 3wks. It cld go on for 5wks tho :(!! I will b demented. I cant walk my dog anymre shes only wee but pulls to much and breaks my bak. So my mum takes her alot thankfully. She preferes to go there anywae cos shes so spoiled lol x
Yeah it was a good laugh, was nice to catch up with my work girls again, they were all giving my Bump a row and telling it to hurry up as they are dying ot meet it lol. Aww poor you, yeah my BH were dead painful, wasn't good :/ lol you can come and nest in my house as well if you like. Thought it;s been scrubbed top to toe about 5 times these last couple weeks. Now I'm just done lol. Hahaha I;m just back form a 4 mile walk with the dog, trying to break these blooming waters but it didn't work that way lol. Hahaha yeah there's only so much TV you can watch.....I've watched so much TV online its unreal, I'm up to date with the Walking Dead, Greys Anatomy, halfway through Season 2 of House now...... its insane lol. Hahaha yeah I can imagine that he would be happy with that lol x
So how was ur anne summers party? I had braxton hicks durin night and thot if it feels like ths am screwed lol. Done all th housework today (defo nesting) and my back was breakin. Now chillin out watchen tele. I havent realised how crap tele is. Makes u want to go bak to work lol. My bf loves tht im off cos dinners ready for him comin home, houseworks all done and washine all up to date lol x
Lol well they are still only mildly uncomfortable, but still regular. Nothing I would call painful :( It's actually depressing me now lol. I know, I got all excited when I lost mine, but 4 weeks on and baby is still quite happy being inside. We chose the Cambridge cot, in Beech, as my bosses gave us the Changing Table in Beech and the cot matches it perfectly. I know, he is going to chase her today about it. SHe has gotten bits and bobs like vests etc but all I want is my cot haha. Lol it should be daunting, or exciting, but all I can think about is how rubbish it is that it's not here yet, its beginning to really get to me. I was 1cm dilated at 39+6, 2cm dilated and 40+5 and 3cm dilated yesterday at 41+1 and my bag of waters is "bulging" so it should be making signs of appearing shortly, but I'm getting nothing :( xx
Mine should have been a May baby was due may 10th but he decided to make an appearance April 30th.
Ooh thats good that ther becomin more regular. Lets hope this is it. Tuesday isnt long away but defo long anuf away. I cant wait to hav my show, but now i no it doesnt always mean labour is soon to follow. Which is disapointin. I really liked th winnie th pooh cot from babies r us. Shes best buyin it now if its half price, u wont get better thn tht. Weve had babies room all done since feb. Even tho i no it wont b usin it for months lol. Had pram over at my mums for ages too. U wld thnk she wld want to get it for u since its her grandchild and tht. Some people are jst weird. Obv dnt thnk th way we do lol. Is it not daunting to thnk tht ur baby will b here within a few days?xx
Oh lordy, hope it's not too big a baby for you. Midwife said it felt like a long baby as well, but then that doesn;t surprise me as I'm almost 6ft and BD is over 6ft, so we were expecting it to be just as tall as us once it's grown up lol. My sister was quite heavy, and so was his sister so I think I picked the wrong BD hahaha. Oooh, thats exciting, I was so happy when I lost mine, although it was a little gross lol. NOw everytime I go to loo I check for a bloody show - you would think I would have had it by now after 3 sweeps lol. I know, I'm thinking that unless she goes and buys it this weekend - we have pointed out the one we want and in what colour, its in Babies R Us and is half price at the moment for £99, so she is best to buy it ASAP before it goes back to full price - that I'll just get it and BD can stick it on his credit card and she can pay him back. She says she hasn't gotten it yet cause it doesn't need it yet...but it's not the point, I want it in and the room ready for it coming home. We had the Moses Basket from his Dad when we were 34 weeks, and that's been built up and made since 36 weeks, had the pram from my mum at 30 weeks and my Dad & Stepmum bought a baby swing / bouncer thing that you switch on and it rocks baby to sleep when I was about 30 weeks as well. I'm the same I'm not normally organised but we found out when I was already 12 weeks gone so thought we only had 6 months to get everything organised lol so it was like a military operation hahaha. They are getting more uncomfortable than what they were earlier but still aren't what I would call painful...yet. They are quite regular though so (without getting my hopes up too much) I think this may be it. According to google, early labour ends when you reach 3cm dilated and active labour starts from there.....x
I have 11 days left. Due Tuesday May 14th! At my 38 weeks appointment I was 1-1.5cm dilated. Been noticing my mucus plug come out the last few days. My baby is at my ribs and just want her out already! Although I am in no rush I hope to have her before next weekend! I had a sweep done on tuesday and if no labour by Monday I will get another sweep. Good luck ladies :)
Wen i went to my app 3wks ago i was measurin 2wks aheah. So i thnk theve jst measured me diff from each other. My bf was jst under 10lbs wen he was born but i was only 6.6 wen i was born. He thnks its a wee girl now cos its measurin small lol. He said if it was a boy id b huge lol. His dad was 10.9 wen he was born so boys defo run big on his side. Mine dont thankfully. Ur prob best just goin out and buyin it urself, thats wat im like. Iv never been organised for anythng in ma life but for some reason im so organised for baby comin and hav bn for months and months. Have ur contractions got any worse since earlier?xx
aw t least they are being attentive, thats good :) better to be sure. midwife felt my bump and said it feels like a big baby, at least 8lbs....BD and i were both over 9lbs though when we were born, although none of us are that big now (im a UK s12-14, he a 34" waist) tell me about it the room just looks soi bare lol, i can see me just getting it myself. hahaha yeah muy mum is about 15 mins away - close enough for me hahaha :) xx
Well im just bak from midwife and apparently babys measurin small. So iv to go for a scan on wed to make sure everythngs ok. Im not worried bcos its a diff midwife and shes jst beein on safe side (which id rather). Hes a security manager not far from home at all. Yeah the room will look strange without cot. Yeah if she said she wld buy it i dnt see why she bloody hasnt already lol. Thats good tht he is goin to be ther th two wks once bubs comes. Ul need all th help u can get. My mum lives across th road from me so its so handy (sometimes to handy lol) so she will b over all th time i bet lol.xx
Haha absolutely, I liked wearing the outfits before I got pregnant but no way in hell I'll be wearing one ion the near future, I just wanna see my work girlies again, they are already asking when I'm coming back cause they aren't keen on their new boss, who is covering my maternity leave haha. Aw my Birth plan is so vague, its like interventions - as required. Pain relief - gas and air, work up the pain relief options. Preferred method of giving birth - birthing pool if available. If not, I don't want to be confined to bed. It's so open top everything lol, I'm ruling nothing out hahaha. What does he do for his job? He has a right to "rise and run" if you go into labour surely? My BD's work was like that as well, he had to give them it in writing that he was refusing to go down South from mid-April - end May for baby being born - so they sent him down for a week at the beginning of April :/ He is going to ask his mum about the cot tonight...apparently but we shall see. If she ain't for buying it, I'll make him buy it and stick it on his credit card and she can pay him back, the babys room looks so empty withoug it :( We are ok, see each other a few times a week, he is moving in with me again for the two weeks he is pon paternity leave then will be going back to his grans after that :( he be sleeping on the couch though, he just wants to be there to help out those first couple weeks x

Yeah tonight will do u the world of gd. I hate puten on th outfits so u defo hav a great reason not to lol. Iv got midwife in an hr for my 37wk app. Shes goin over my birth plan (which i dnt hav) im jst taken it as it comes lol. Im not sure how it will work if i go into labour with bf job. Bit i no he will jst say am away lol. They no time is getin close so not as if its jst cropped up theve knowin for months. Hav u said to him about cot again? How are things between use?xx
Well that's what I'm thinking - if I'm sitting waiting then it'll never happen. If I'm out enjoying myself, it has a higher chance of happening lol. Will give me some entertainment anyway - and it gives me a great excuse of not being chosen as a guinea pig to try outfits on cause none of them will fit hahaha. I know, I don;t want to be on my own either. He was on holiday last wednesday - wednesday there, back working yesterday and today but is working in the same county as me so he is only really about 15 mins max from where I stay regardless of where he is working (he is a sales rep so covers all of Edinburgh / West Lothian) so is never too far. He knows if I tell him he needs to come to mine then he will be there within half an hour lol. Now I have my Induciotn date his boss has given him holidays for Monday Tuesday cause his paternity leave can;t start til day baby is born x
Aw god an anne summers party, ul defo go tonight with all th laughin and tht. Tht will cheer u up keep ur mind busy. Thats gd tht BD been stayin cos i wldnt like to be alone if i went into labour. My bf and i hav an aragment tht if i go iv to fone him at work and he will be straight home. He only works a 3min drive away which is great. Fingers crossed u go bfor tue lets hope contractions pick up and get stronger x
Yeah everything is ok, I got sent to L&D Triage for a checkup, I had 4 contractions while there but they weren't long and although mildly uncomfortable, I wouldn't say they were painful. Still having them about 10 mins apart f=but again more just uncomfortable than painful. GOing to see the MW again for my last check up in just over an hour, so she going to see if am any further dilated etc.....I sure hope so, I want baby to arrive this weekend so I don't have to wait for my Induction on Tuesday lol. GOing to an Ann Summers Party tonight with some of my work colleagues so sods law will have me going into labour while I;m there hahaha. Aw I know, BD has been staying over a lot lately since I'm about to pop and he lies there snoring and I sit and watch TV til I can fall asleep......I don't even have the concentration to read a book at the moment and it's kiling me cause the book I 'm reading is really good but I can't focus for more than a chapter, so it's taking me ages to get through it lol. Hahaha I kow, I can;t wait til I can POST that I've had bubs lol x
Everythng ok after bump? Least u now hav a goal in mind and if baby comes bfor then thats a massive bonus lol. Could u feel ur contractions wen u wer in hospital? Iv had a gd few braxton hicks, im getin very uncomfortable. Lyin in bed th now and bf out cold next to me.. ragein lol. Once im sleepin im fine, its getin comfy to actual fall asleep lol. I cant wait to read that uv finaly had bubs :) xx
