28w4d - ?

I'm curious to know if what I feel at this point in my pregnancy is normal. I am sure most of it is. But, I don't know what exactly could change or become a point I need to call a doctor. Last night, I was feeling a little back pain in my lower back. Not that it concerned me but it's just a new feeling. I also can feel my cervix as I would during a menstrual... It feels like it gets sharp pains sometimes and I can tell when Brody is kicking or pushing around it. I have a very active baby, but today he hasn't moved that much. I know they sleep and grow. He didn't start moving until 3:15 pm today and it's 4:42 pm now. I noticed that I am able to get my breaths in a lot better now. He was so up there with his kicking and punching that I couldn't breathe. I'm having some pressure down in my lower abdomen not too bad but noticeable, a little backache, mild cramping, a headache for a while today which I still have, and my cervix has bothered me a tad today. Now, I didn't go venturing around inside my hoohah when I did this, but I did stick my finger in there just a little ways and noticed my cervix is a little low today, but I feel his head pushing down. Is that why I'm feeling this pressure? At what point do I need to call a doctor about it and if not, what ways do I need to relax? It's storming outside, trees are getting blown down in some places so I'm not sure how relaxed I can get right now.

I went in last night and they said I had a bladder infection. I'm not even sure how long ive had it but if I didn't come in last night, I would have been in the hospital before my next appointment. It was better safe than sorry, so I went on safe :)

I would call the Dr in the morning to make sure that nothing is seriously wrong if the problem persists…they will do an ultrasound and check to see if you are dilating. If you are dilating at this stage because only 28w4d they will most likely give you a medicine that stops contractions and possible labor. Keep hydrated also.

Did you try the warm bath?

I haven't timed it but, as of this moment I am having a little side pain and cramping that was constant for about 10 minutes.. I'll start timing them now... and a pain going down a little to my cervix but more so to my butt (like my cervix did during my mentruals) and I had a very slight nose bleed along with my headache. I don't know if it's because I got worked up. Just not having a good day today. Been feeling blah. I guess because it's been storming off and on all day long.

By the time I was at 30 weeks with my daughter her head was downward where the doctor if they checked me could probably feel. Is your cramping/pressure regular, have you timed it? If so how often are they coming? They could be Braxton Hicks which is just your body getting prepared for labor. I had Braxton Hicks when I was about 24 months and on. Try taking a nice warm bath and see if that helps relax you also. If you have too many concerns I would call your doctor or go to the ER just to be on the safe side.
