back to square one?

I really need as much advice that i can get here ... searching online doesn't seem to be helping ... anyone who has any advice, anything will do.

I decided to go to the Dr today because of symptoms that have been going on concerned that it's either pergnancy or not, its to early to take a home test. if anything, id be 2 weeks ... but this is everything i have been feeling ...

past 3-4 mornings all i wanna do is throw up, im super nausiated and tired .. it goes away by the afternoon but comes back in the evening. im having a super hard time falling asleep and when i do i wake myself back up from the twitching.  i dont want to be touched, im super sensetive in the mornings and evenings ... my chest is real sensetive and tingly. at night i have found minor cramping on the right side ... im getting sharp instant shooting pains in my vaginal area ...

other than that i went to the dr today ... she did an exam and said that my uterus is enlarged a bit. so she did a pregnany blood test. the only thing is what kind did they do? i dont know if it was a full hcg or just a yes or no blood test. well it did come back NEGETIVE which is fine but im not convinced. Im not pushing to be pregnant, its just more of what is going on ... i dont like feeling this way and not knowing why :'( i really do think im pregnant because i felt this way with my daughter. Anyone with any information please help! like i said if anything id be right at 2 weeks.

I just wanted to update being now its a few weeks later and let yall know that I found out i am pregnant 5 weeks :D *hugs* thanks for the support everyone!!!!!

yes right now my husband and I are trying ... i have had a pregnancy before, 5 years ago ...  but i did not have any of these feelings till after my period was missed. i know most pergnancies are never the same. thanks ladies yall are really helping me get some insight i appreciate all the advice!

rather wait until you miss your period then test.you should be able to get a more accurate result then.

Hi, 2 weeks since your last cycle means your ovulating like the lady above say's or you have just ovulated and maybe conceived I have heard of women having pregnancy symptoms as soon as egg and sperm meet, but your body will not produce hcg until implantation has occured, are you ttc ?

yes i know how expensive they can be ... there is a pregnancy testing center too here that does blood testing for about $20 ... so if anything im going to just wait till/ if i have missed my period.

I mean 2 weeks by ... its been 2 weeks since i finished my cycle .. roughly around if maybe a day or 2 more ... :| i get confussed with all the days and how many for this and that!

the dr said if im not feeling well come back in 7 days ... or better i should say. she gave me no other explanation as to WHY i was feeling this when she is like oh its negetive. well then why am i feeling this or that? no searching out some other logical explanation, just a come back in 7 days if you dont feel better.

Sounds like a waiting game at this point. To be 2 weeks pregnant would mean you're ovulating right now. If you meant the little one would be about 2 weeks then you'd actually be 4 weeks pregnant.

If your HCG was under a certain amount they may have told you "No" so I would just wait things out and retest with First Response. Blood tests can be around $50 each unless you have amazing insurance (even then most insurances do not cover the initial pregnancy test).

An enlarged, swollen uterus if not pregnant might be a concern for something else. If you are indeed not pregnant I would push for a sonogram.

thanks ladies i really appreciate it. yes i really think it was a yes or no cause it wasn't 48 hours apart and i really do think its too early.

i really appreciate the help and really thats all i can do is wait! frustraiting yes!

I would of thought a blood test would of been pretty accurate, Ive had a blood test for hcg but had to have 2 done 48hrs apart, so maybe the one in the doctors was just like you said a yes or no one, frustrating as it must be the only thing you can do is wait and see, your symptoms certainly seem to be that of being pregnant so maybe you need another day or so for hcg levels to be high enough to be detected. You can always wait it out for a few more days and test again. Sometimes when it's really early the tests won't pick it up.
