castor oil

I'm 37+3 weeks and I'm 1cm dilated my midwife attempted to do a stretch and sweep earlier today but could only fit a fingertip in so she tried what she could, obviously its not worked. Just wondering who has taken castor oil and been successful?

Wait until your 40 week's to try castrol oil it's safer for the baby then harshest my midwife said and it may not work btw I am 40+6 tried it 6 Times and still nothing

I wanna know the same thing! I'm 38 weeks and 3cm dilated. She stretched me a little but it didn't move my very next appointment showed still 3. I was about to get the castor oil at the store but got way to nervous. I really don't want anything to happen to my baby...
