spotting on and off, postive HPT

My last period was Sept 18, I  have had some of the symptoms of pregnancy, fatigue, excess discharge, dizzyness, low back ache. I have taken hpts for about 3 weeks now. I got a faint positive on a first response on Thursday morning with my first mornings pee. I decided to go to the lab and have a blood test done. It came back neg. I scheduled an appt with my doc and had a urine test on Fri at the Docs and it was neg. Met with the doc and they are going to do a pelvic ultrasound tomorrow. I left the docs and took another HPt which came back positive. This time the line was darker. Since then, on Friday night, i had some dark spotting. Saturday I also had some light spotting, just one time) and today I had dark brownish blood when I wiped. It is not a constant spotting it just happens once. After I wipe it doesnt come back till next time. Am i pregnant? Is this a miscarriage? I have not had any cramping, just nauseousness. HELP, please.

Thanks so much for your input. There was no pain with any of the spotting. After my first one, i passed a huge amount of tissue(they say it was my wall) about 2 months later. That was a huge amount of pain. It does not compare to that in any way. So let me ask this.... according to a conception calendar, it says I would have concieved on OCT 2.. why the bleeding a month later or maybe I didnt ovulate as i thought? I am just confused. any help is welcomed! THANKS

it could ve been implantation bleeding and brown blood is old blood was the blood bright red was there any clots and is the pain unbearable. but i think thats it could be from the embryo implantating into the uterine wall which then may or may not cause a little of the tissue to shed. but just in case consult a doc. and i think that your pregnant a positive is a positive no matter how faint the line is if you can see the line within the time allowed and you dont have to squint or have anyone else verify it then i would trust it. you might only have a little amount of hcg in your system rightr now but every 2 days your hcg levels rise have a wonderful 9 months of pregnancy. and CONGRATS
