TTC after miscarriage

ok, so i've decided that i am ready just to continue with trying to get pregnant...this is my first cycle after my miscarriage and i'm tracking my ovulation with OPK's so that if, at a scan in the future they say "are you sure about your dates" like they did this time...i can 100% say yes and not be left to wait 2 weeks like i was this time when i knew the answer and had to wait a further 3weeks to miscarry by medical assistance!  the only positive out of this is that although i worried when i first found out i was pregnant i now know that this is exactly the direction i want my life to take now and know i am in the position to do the best i could ever do =) x

Thats good. I hope you concieve quickly again. And I hope everything goes well this time. Thats what my doc had told me afterwards. I had a D&C i dont know if that had anything to do with him telling me to wait. But o-well if all is good with you, I'd say go for it.LOL cant hurt to try. But good luck and keep me posted on how things are going. ]

My days feel like they are dragging at this point. It's getting hotter here and I HAtE the heat. Im dreading July when Im almost due and I have probably 20 more pounds to carry around.

I spoke to the doctor and was told the reason they tell you to wait 3months is so that you can track 3 normal periods so they have an idea of conception but that miscarriage doesn't weaken the uterus or anything and as long as the previous pregnancy had all come away (which a scan confirmed it had) then physically there is no reason preventing and sustaining a new pregnancy so that's the news that's got me to be happy to try again, it took us 8months to conceive the last time so i'm not going to get myself all worked up about it if AF comes and just look forward to a potential BFP in the near future =) Thanks and good luck to you, not long left now!

If your cycles have returned to normal I dont see what the problem would be. Most doctors want you to wait two or three months before ttc just to make sure everything is healed. Talk to your doctor just to be safe. After I had my second mc he told me to wait 3 months. Well I got pregnant little over a month later when I started my first cycle of birth control. good luck to you and your journey.
