prenatal pills making me sick

if i take them i trow up but even if i dont take then i feel nauseous almost all day and i find it very hard to eat what can i do

Oh, you definitely have to eat before you take vitamins, pregnant or not pregnant. Even just a piece of bread or a few saltines it'll help. You're body can't absorb vitamins when all you have in your stomach is acid.
Eh, I've made that mistake - worst feeling ever.

Im 7 weeks, and thanks you all have been very helpful i wasn't eating before taking the pills in fact i find it hard to even think of eating i stay sick to my stomach all day and the thought of food (except my cravings) makes me very sick. But i will try eating something before taking theses prenatal pills

The only thing with the VitaFusions, is I don't believe they have Iron in them, so you'll also need to be using a supplement as well to get that.

Hi!

I take these prenatal vitamins that are like tasty gummies.  I get them at Target, they're called VitaFusion and they have DHA and all the folic acid you need, among all the other vitamins.  I also eat the caramel Calcium/Vit D chews from Target too.

Have you tried prenatals with ginger in them? They're called something like rainbow choice or rainbow light . . . I'll look at the bottle when I get home. I threw up all the other kinds of vitamins, especially omega-3 supplements. Even now with these vitamins I find it best to take them in the middle of lunch, because I can't handle the nausea at any other time of day.

How far along are you? Are you keeping down the vitamins?

I get sick to if I don't eat before taking them. But if you have a hard time eating try drinking a glass of milk first so it will use as a coating for your tummy and hopefully not make you feel so sick. Good Luck

Do you take them with food or on an empty stomach? I noticed I got sick more if I didn't take mine with food.

that sounds like it might work thank you. Ive tryed taking them at night but i still vomit.

You can try taking two (2) chewable childrens vitamins. I've had to switch to that since my prenatals made me sick.

You could also take them at night that might help with the neausea.
