DF dropped a bomb on me today

he wants to have another kid!!! all this time he has been saying this is the last and one of us is getting fixed (haha, nice verbage on his half) after this one but now today i caught him saying while we were looking at bedding "that way we can pass it down to the next one or whatever you want to do" so i asked him about it and i think we decided that we are going to see how things go with this one...truthfully i think he really wants a boy but knew i wanted a girl so bad

im due this september and i want to wait and see how my health holds up...then i want to lose weight and get ready for my wedding (august 2011)...so im thinking if all goes well then we can start trying again after the wedding...i never planned on getting preg again so this is a total surprise...i also want to get further in grad school...hopefully my teaching license before another one comes

i dont even know what to say...im shocked...that's 2 shockers this week

same here...my son has my last name for now....his father is not on the BC but once we get married my son will have our married last name....we truly are lucky to have men like these...i met my fiance when my son just turned 3...maybe thats the magical age :)

My DH pretty much did the same thing. My oldest is from a loser who's never had anything to do with her.  She was turning 3 right aroudn the time I met DH.  A few years after we got married, when she was 7 DH put his name on the BC (I had never put the losers name on there) so she could have our last name.  By all means except blood he is her father.

its all gonna come down to how my health holds up for the rest of this preg...so far things were going well until my cerivx being short came up....im hoping so hard when i go may 24 for another check its still holding at a 2.5....

men are funny and the things they say and how they swear this is the last...this is really my fiances first...i have one son from another man who has never been a part of my sons life so my fiance is the closest thing that my son has ever had...actually after we get married he will adopting my son....im very blessed to have this man in my life

Men say all kinda crap.  Dh has told me "this is our last" with the last 3 pregnancies LOL.  Just the other day he was staring at my belly and when i looked at him he said "I was just thinking about when you were having gabe and you were in pain and yelling and i kept saying, i'm sorry, i won't get you pregnant again, and now look at you" LOL  Last time he SWORE no more babies, then in the beginning this time he again SWORE no babies, said one of us was getting fixed, then the other day he made the comment that "Well I know that I'm not having ANY more kids once I turn 40"

My hubby told me two days ago that this was his first and last baby because of all the issues I am having - I told him the last man to tell me that I was not having anymore babies is now my EX-Husband!  I personally am not sure if I am going to have anymore... but we did IVF and there are 4 embyros still frozen - so I feel that I need to.  I think he will change his mind once we start shopping for baby stuff and when he actually gets to hold his little girl for the first time!!!  I remember saying with both of my babies before - that I was never getting pregnant again (while in the midst of being preggers and fat .. and miserable) but once I saw them.. I wanted another one right away!

Hey I have to say it!!!! I told you so! LOL! I am so glad that you guys are thinking about another one because I know how badly you guys wanted this little one =) Def give it some consideration but definitely get your school and everything situated and then give it another go! I am so happy for you guys!

hahahaha what a surprise I'd say. I think your man is just enjoying the fun of having a nursery and imagining the baby playing and sleeping there. He is getting in touch with his sensitive side :-)
Aww..but who wouldn't want another baby? Oh wait, I know.....MY HUSBAND lol.......

Things may still change after the baby is here:  he might want MORE than one more!! ;-)  Seriously....after DH and I had our first son, we decided that we didn't want to try for another right away....meanwhile, before we had him, we thought we'd want to start trying again by the time he was 1 year old.  It took us until he was 2.5 years old to feel ready for another baby.  And now that our second son is here (13 weeks old today) we're both sure we're done......no turning back!!! :-)

it just caught me by surprise...there are so many things that need to happen before we think of having another baby...first we have to have this one and since its our first one togehter and there are so many other things going on im not in a hurry to having another one that soon

Awwwww.....that's so cool :-)  I hope everything works out for you....hang in there - September will come soon (I was due at the end of Sept. with my first son....and once the spring hit, it seemed as though the time FLEW by!) :-)
