AT 5 weeks it's not likely that there is enough of the pregnancy hormone in your system to begin causing a lot of the "typical" pregnancy symptomes.  Usually by 6-8 weeks or so is when you will start to notice symptoms IF you are going to get them. Every pregnancy is different. You could have NO symptoms at all with one and be throwing up constantly the next.  The lack of (or even presence of) symptoms isn't a good basis for whether the pregnancy is viable or healthy.

As the others said, enjoy it! That being said, it tends to peak near 10-11 weeks. With my first pregnancy, it started near week 7 with a bit of indigestion and by the next weekend, I was definitely nauseous most days. My very lucky friend is currently 12 weeks and although tired, hasn't felt sick at all!

Thank your lucky stars if your not feeling sick, hun..I've been terribly sick three out of four pregnancies!!! But this last one, it did come on a little later, around 6/7 wks, and it was the worst of them all!!!

By the way the symptoms of pregnancy you hear all about is just an average of what women around the world experience. Its not "this is how its going to be. No exceptions." Sort of thing. :)

Of corse not. every woman's body is different and responds to things different. Not to mention every pregnancy is different too! What you may or may not experience this pregnancy doesn't mean it will or will not happen your second or third pregnancy. Its different for everyone every time.
