Constant Worrying

I just have a question for anyone that can realate. I'm 22 weeks pregnant and i worry constantly.
I just want everything to be ok, soon as i don't feel well i assume that something is wrong. People keep telling me to stop worrying but i can't.
I'm afraid to do anything around the house just in case i lift something too heavy or even taking the dog for a walk.
Does anyone else feel paranoid?

I totally understand where you are coming from. I am constantly worried or anxious. I am 29 weeks tomorrow and I keep worrying that I won't have everything ready before the baby comes or that the nursery won't be set up on time. I also am worried about our money situation when I go on maternity leave, there are always worries but I don't think its good for our babies to feel us worry so much, I believe they can feel our emotions inside the womb and we need to relax a little. I always tell my BF I hope we have a happy baby, and he always says the same thing, to think positively, stop worrying and we will. I don't think the men understand though, i think its a maternal thing we all go through!

Worry is normal during pregnancy but you shouldn't let it effect you so much. Babies are resilient little creatures and not much that you do physically during pregnancy is going to hurt them. I've even smacked myself in the stomach with a car door and had my doctor tell me it was ok and that they baby is so protected in there that the only one that got hurt was me and that the baby didn't even feel it. If it would help ease your worries though go buy a doppler or rent one online that way anytime you are worried you can check to hear the heart rate.

i feel exactly the same so much so that i can't enjoy my life properly and i can't even sleep properly Then i worry that the baby is not getting the sleep they need I think i am going insane
i had a total panic the other day because i couldn't feel much movement (only about 3 little kicks from morninng to tea time) i actually phoned my midwife in tears and she came round and put the doppler on so i could hear heartbeat The minute she went i felt baba again
i think we just have to try and relax and have faith that all is well At this stage they are tiny babies and we may not feel all their movements so it is so important just to rest and eat well and not panic too much
easier said than done but have faith

Is this your first??  I feel anxiety to some degree until mine are born and I can see them for myself!!! And I've had 5!  I know it's hard, but try not to worry.  And walks are good exercise and unless your doctor has told you different, walking should be just fine.  I walked on my treadmill for 25 minutes a day 4 to 5 times a week until the very end with my 5th.
