What all could cause movement in the belly???

Cysts can cause movement in the pelvic area too. I had that a few years ago and I thought I was pregnant, but went for an ultrasound to find multiple growing cysts. Yikes! :)

All kinds of things can feel like a kick - gas, intestinal movements, muscle spasms of some kind, nerve twitches. For the woman who generally doesn't have a lot of intestinal problems or other "funny things" like nerve twitches it isn't something that you feel often. It only happens once in a great while, and when it does you'd swear you were four or five months along. But unless you have a positive pregnancy test and are at least 4 months along then I would rule out pregnancy.
