Am I going to miscarry??

I went in today to have an ultrasound and they saw a sac and a yolk.....but no baby. I should be about 6 weeks along, but my sac was measuring 4wks 4days......am I going to miscarry or is it too early to tell? I lost my 1st baby and then had a sucessfull 2nd pregnancy with a healty little 22month old :)

Well, I just got back from my ultrasound and there was a heartbeat today!!! YEA!!!! It was 120bpm....so I guess I just miscalculated how far along I was.  Now hopefully the rest of the pregnancy goes smoothly!!

I really hope I miscalculated, which I guess I could have because my cycle is usally 33-34 days and I might be a day or two off from when my last cycle started.  I don't know my levels yet, just had blood work done today. I go back next Friday for another u/s and blood work and then I guess I will know more then. I am not spotting.....yet at least, so I guess it is just all a waiting game.....

How are your HCG numbers?  if they are dropping, then you probably are going to miscarry.  I had my MC in April, with a fetal sac, but no yolk or fetal pole.  My HCG levels continued to drop (slowly), and I MC'd when the baby was 8 wks.
On the bright side, if your HCG's are rising, that is good, and you could have your dates off and it's too early to see the baby yet... Hang in there :)

If you truly are 6 weeks pregnant, they should have been able to see a tiny baby with a heartbeat at this point. If you miscalculated and are 2 weeks behind, I guess that'd be too early to see anything yet. I'm assuming they told you to come back in 2 weeks for another u/s? Best wishes :)

I didn't know that there can be a sac with a yolk and not a baby, I thought the yolk was the baby?
