Iam pretty sure you can use saline spray .
If you bring her out to the grocery store, church, etc. Even if no one touches her, alot of the stuff is airborne so she can just breathe in those lovely germs! My family made fun of me and called me psycho mom but up until my babies were 3-4 months old I wouldn't take them in a grocery store! Lol but hey it paid off none of them had any bad colds until they were much older. Hope she gets well soon!
Thank you I called an advice nurse last night and she said to put her in the bathroom with the shower running and suck out her nose. She also said to use warm water in her nose to loosen the mucus. I hope this doesn't turn into something else! She hasn't been around anyone sick so idk how she got it ):
If she doesnt have fever, no Tylenol. Use a cool mist humidifier and plain saline nose drops to ease congestion. You can also stand in the bathroom and let a hot shower run and let her breathe the steam. If the cough is every once and a while its probably from the sinus drainage going into her throat. Watch her for a few days and do the above things. If she seems more congested, her cough changes or becomes more persistent, develops a fever, persistent crying, contact your dr. Her cold may turn into an ear infection, sinus infection, or upper respiratory infection. Good luck and hope she feels better.
Use a humidifier that should help as well. being 2 months old I am not sure about the tylenol.
I would call her pediatrician and and ask them what u should do.. they may give u an emergency appointment or they may say tylenol
