Wow datz crazy but congrats mama, and i hope i get preg Soon im not rushing it but hope it happeneds,
My husband wanted the same thing! His family wanted the same first names.. I just said no bc it's a very different name and hard to spell. It's a family name so I put it as my sons middle name and we both agreed it sounded better. This way there isn't a jr and we aren't confusing him when he gets older and everybody won't be misspelling my baby's name like they do his daddy's! Ask your husband about sticking it as a middle name. I think it's wonderful to name a son after his father.. Just not a jr lol
datz crazy how ppls body are diff..were u shocked when u found out or you was planIng of gttn preg.
To me a jr is the exact same name including middle name my sons middle name with be different so for me hes not a jr hes his own person
Ick, I hate the idea of naming my son a Jr. For the rest of their life they will either be called junior or some other nick name so they don't get confused with their daddy. If it's for sentimental reasons than the father should be content with using it as a middle name. It's your child's name, you shouldn't go along with it just to make your husband happy. You both need to find a name you can agree on.
I'm having the same problem my bf wants a Jr too n I hate the thought of that I never wanted a Jr but idk how to tell him without getting him upset
My baby will have his dads name I wuz kinda hesitant at first but I picked his middle name but my bf wasn't too happy bout it lol so it worked out his name will be joseph izaiah
My hubby & family wanted my son to be named Joel after his daddy... I couldn't stand the idea. I didnt want my son to be a junior, he's his own person. So luckily, my hubby changed his mind & we names our son after our fathers.
My husband was like that with our first son he wanted his name to be the first name and i told him i dont wanna confuse the baby so we agreed on making it the middle name instead
