Low hcg levels

I have had an ectopic pregnancy in the past i was only 5 weeks when it happened and i have had a healthy pregnancy since then and now iam pregnant again on sunday i was 4 weeks and 1 day preg and my hcg level was only at 20 i was having some mild cramping and pains but they stoped on monday today, wed.  i am 4 weeks 4 days and my hcg level is 125  when the dr called to tell me the new hcg level i was happy because it went up but he seemed like there might still be a problem.. and wants me to come in tomorrow.. i am scared to death.. they already tryed to do a transvaginal ultrasound but way too soon to see anything .. what more can be done this early to insure the pregnancy is going to be healthy? if anyone has gone through something similur to this i could use someone to talk to very worried!

That is low but they can double every 24-48 hours. They will want to repeat the hcg again to make sure they are rising. Try not to worry dear.
