spotting/bleeding and in hospital

I just slent the night in hospital under observation,  my doctor will becoming in today and im expecting to get a scan done...I just hope everythings ok. I hate hospitals,  no privacy what so ever. Ive been bleedjng for 2 days, but not heavily.  It's my 1st pregnancy, I might have over reacted, but I would rather be safe than sorry.

I just found, that I have a threatened abortion. Im 11 weeks n 1 day according to my calculations. At my first scan the said I was 5 weeks, but according to me I was 8 weeks.

I just had a scan now and it says 6 weeks and 2 days.they dont see a hesrt been even vaginally. They say I should come back in a week.

They say I should be hopeful,  but how do u do that afterbhearting the the baby stop developing at 6 weeks and they cant find a heart beat.
