I have both. You can find bouncer s cheap.  But the swing for sure.

I have both. I use the bouncer especially when I am in the shower, because it vibrates and has toys over head. My daughter loved it. Hopefully my son will too. For the swing I got a "fancy" one, but that is all my daughter would sleep in when we brought her home. I ordered the same swing in blue for this baby. This swing is 3 position, back and forth or side to side, 6 speeds depending on age, plays music, has a light show, and a few toys. I think I paid 116 for it at babies r us.

I'd also say a swing first and once baby is bigger trade it in for a bouncer at "babies r us" when they have the great trade in sale

my opinion both.
but if youu had too choose id go with the swing.
they vibrate, swing baby, play music && otger thins a bouncy cant do.
