Nausea and heartburn...

Hey ladies,
Can any of you recommend some things may ease my nausea and heartburn? I am 16 1/2 weeks and have been getting both really bad this past week. I eat normal food (stuff that normally would not give me heartburn) and still get it anyway! As for the nausea, it comes and goes all day long. I still even throw up. I just need some relief. I have felt this way since I was 7 weeks. Thanks a ton!! =)

I read that yogurt is suppose to help. Tums are good and anyother antacid should be okay. Just make sure you get an okay from you doctor first.

sorry to break jennajohnson's bubble, but you will not stop having heartburn at 19 weeks. With the growth of of the baby pushing on all your organs (including your stomach), your heartburn is caused by not having enough room for all the epigastric acids to go, therefore they come up. Best solution... tums(they are allowed because they have calcium, which is good for the baby), and prop yourself while you sleep.

You will stop experiencing nausea at 19 weeks because your body will have adjusted to the hormones, keep drinking the water and don't worry I threw up every day for four or five months and they said my baby is healthy and just the right size.  Also try walking for exercise the fresh air will help too, and while your still laying down before you get out of bed eat some crackers.  Honestly I tried everything honey and I still threw up until I think about 19 weeks, it is just your bodys reaction to all these hormones!

I drink water a lot during the day, I practically live in the bathroom....lol. I have those 16.9 oz. bottles of water and try to drink 4 a day. I usually only get 3-3 1/2 down. Ahh...milk yes! I totally forgot about that for that heartburn.

I was nautious everyday for the first four months of my pregnancy then i saw a nutrionist and when I walked in i had a two liter bottle of ginger ale in my hand and he said please tell me you are not drinking that and you are drinking water.  I said water is one of the ingredients in ginger ale and he said no no no honey you need to drink water 24-7.  So ever since I carry water with me everywhere and drink it all the time, and I stopped being nauseaus the day i left his office and started drinking WATER ALL THE TIME!   and none of the books tell you try drinking lots of water, but that is what it is babygirl, your body is dehydrated and needs more water because that is what makes up the amniotic fluid, so start buying those 24 packs of deer park at walmart for five bucks and you can sip all day if you wanna or chug a lug.  But if you got heartburn try sipping all day, and to cure heartburn what I do is drink a glass of milk and it works every time because milk coats your tummy and you will be fine!
