Membrane Strip
Last time I was at my doctor's office she said that next time she can strip my membranes if I want her too, and I have an appointment tomorrow.. I have no idea if I am dilated or not. My question is, do you have to be dilated for them to strip your membranes? Thanks ladies!
I'm going to be having mine stripped on Wednesday. I heard its more effective when you're dilated but you don't have to be.
I know exactly when I got pregnant because we were using OPK's, so I'm not really worried about that. But thank you for your reply! :)
No you don't have to be dilated but they have to be able to get to your cervix. I don't recommend getting your membranes stripped. Your LO will come when he/she is ready. Also remember your due date can be off by a week or two.
