Mine didn't, but I was nervous and asked and they reassured me that there was no reason to worry, it was just to take better pictures

I hope I don't get the same tech as last time she didn't talk to me at all unless I asked questions and it was just a regular ultrasound maybe that's why idk n she was friendly but so straight face I hated that bc it makes me feel like something is wrong you know , and I will keep u guys updated after thanks :)

I agree with her first post ^ I always ask after every ultrasound "if everything looks okay" they will tell you if something is wrong but I'm sure your baby is healthy :)

I had to go back for a second ultrasound because of his spine, apparently he wasn't cooperating with the photos! I freaked n asked a million questions but she reassured me it was just because they didn't get good enough photos :)

I stressed a lot too and it was all for nothing. Your baby is probably fine, we're young so we have much less risk to our babies. Try not to go online and look at all the things wrong that babies can be born with. Itll do you no good, especially since you still have so long to go. If you've already rulled out down syndrome then that's a big birth defect crossed off right there. Good luck! Try not to worry too much, itll probably go just fine and you'll get to stare at your baby for a good 30 minutes or so (:

Itll take a little longer than the others, you'll see the tech taking lots of pictures and measuring the babies organs and growth. They'll check to see everything is in order and normal that there are no abnormal blips, and that your baby is developing on track. There really isn't anything to stress about. And don't worry if they ask you to come back because they couldn't see everything, that's totally normal and happens a lot. Babies can be stubborn and if they aren't in the right position it can be hard to get all the pictures they need. I remember having to go back twice for my scan because they couldn't see one of my daughter's chamber in her heart because she wouldn't move for them.

You should drink a lot of water though throughout pregnancy, not only is it good health wise for you and baby but the more water you drink means the more amniotic fluid you have and the clearer the pictures can be.
