I am currently 5w4d with my 3rd pregnancy, last 2 m/c . my hcg is doubling and I have had no problems my question is how early should I have an us and be able to see hb, my last hcg yesterday was 2286.Thanks girls.

Thank you my doctor wants we to have one this friday but i have to work so i scheduled it for tuesday I will be 6w4d

I was told that you could hear a heartbeat at 6 weeks by the hospital but i have heard from the girls on this site that 6 weeks is far to early to detect a heartbeat. I know we have our first scans at 15 weeks here in the UK but some have them earlier if there is problems or reasons for an earlier scan. Good luck and have a happy 9 months.

Every Dr. is differnet. With my son I didnt have a u/s intill I was 18weeks.The second time Around I had one at 6weeks and saw a hb but ending in a m/c. The third time around I had a u/s at 7w5d. Good Luck.
