I had cramping for like 3days(I was also up and moving around) I got my 1st period 5weeks later. The 1st few weeks are really hard, but it does get easyer. You will always remember, but there will come a time when you can think and talk about with out crying! I really dont know what I would do if I didnt have my son........
So sorry for your loss!
I've had 2 D&C's. Cramping only only lasts a few days, and you should get your period in a little over a month, something like 5 or 6 weeks. Emotional healing, of course, is a different story. Somehow, it helped me to think about it not as my baby dying, but as my baby just deciding he wants to wait a little longer before being born. I know it may sound pathetic, and you pretty much take all you can get...
I'm so sorry for your loss. I know how it feels and here is my story. I hope any info can help you. I went in for a 9 week ultrasound and found that the baby had quit growing at about 6 weeks and had a d & c done the next day. I had minimal cramping that day. I got married 4 days later. I couldn't believe that it would happen to us and was an emotional person. How could something so tragic be right before the happiest day of my life (well besides my two boys from a previous marriage)? I was mad and sad and cried a LOT. I bled for 2 weeks and had to follow my hcg levels down from 47,000 which took 4 weeks. They said that I would get my next period one month after the bleeding stopped, but magically I got it just 12 days later. It took 4 more months of trying (AND DOING EVERYTHING!!!) to finally get pregnant again! I am now almost 7 weeks and have my ultrasound tomorrow. I am praying that everything is ok this time. I read a book about pregnancy after a loss and that really helped too. It will take a while for you heart to start healing and hopefully you have a strong support system behind you. All of us are here for you. Sorry again for your loss.
This might be a dumb question but I had a D & C on Nov 26th. I haven't heard anything about my hcg levels & what they should be, etc. Was the doctor supposed to test that/? All i know is my progesterone was LOW....7.5
Any insight on this would be greatly appreciated.

sorry about your loss, i to had to have a d and c two weeks ago. i had slight cramping for the first 2 days and only spotting on and off for about 3 days. it still hurts everytime i see a baby or anything that would remind me of one. but im gonna try again asap. been trying over a yr to get pregnant. but i have two boys that are my life and now hoping for a girl
Wow! Its amazing how many people are going through but......I had a m/c 11/15 @ 11wks......i was heartbroken and I thought I would never recover but Prayer works wonders and on top of that my fiance was awesome I gained my strength from him.. and I ahd to relize that my boys (2) I had to keep living you know and someone asked me this very ? they said you two love each other I said yes very much they said to me I know it is hard but you can make another one that let me know that all hope was not gone. I began to look at my m/c as a blessing and a burden @ the same time you know God is able and if it is his will then there is nothing in hell that can prevent that n matter what you or anyone else does. It was nothing you did wrong or whatever my prayers ae with you all. May you be blessed I aloso hope that something I said helped someone
Thank ou everyone it helps to know I am not the only one MUCH LOVE TO ALL OF YOU
