Castor oil...
How many of you did it to induce labor?  What week did you take it & did it really work?

I took castor oil at 8pm i have been having contractions just not real close hoping i go into labor im already dilated to a 2

Castor oil was easy for me my contractions were super easy. It all depends on you.

I was having contractions all day but not strong enough to dilate. When I got home from l&d around midnight I ate a whole pineapple and took a shot of castor oil with some pineapple juice and my water broke at 7am the next morning and my baby girl was born at 8:58 pm that night.

At the local drugstore by laxatives. Everyone said it would give me the runs but I took a little less than the dose and I was fine. Have not tried epo but I think I will this time.

I did it on my due date with my first and had her the next day (went into labor the evening I took it). My Dr said my labor contactions were "probably" so bad because of the castor oil, but I have a low pain tolerance so I'm not sure I believe that. It worked great for me.

I have no idea. My doctor wouldn't check me until 39 weeks and she was going to strip my membranes but I took a leap of faith that it would work. But I was also inserting 3 epo a night all week so maybe I was. I just didn't want to go over like I did with my first and be medically induced.
