hello, im 5 and a half wks pregnant and have not gone for my first visit yet.. i have had 2 miscarraiges in the last year,the last one was just a few weeks ago,i lost the baby at 5 weeks... so i didnt want to go the docs for my first visit until i reached 5 weeks,now i have reached it i dont want to go, i dont know why,the thoughts of going is turning my stomack.. how long can i wait before i have to go? could i just wait untill im a few months pregnant?

another reason to make an appointment now:  They may be "booked" for a few weeks.  It may be awhile before you can get in.  good luck.

I would make an appointment! I have alos had a miscarriage and it was at 4.5 weeks and I didnt want to make the appointment of get a blood test either.. The earlier you get prenatel care the better but some doctors wont see you until youa re 8+ weeks pregnant so you could very easily wait until then at least!

im sorry for your losses, thats very sad. there are some days when i feel very pregnant and have a ton of symptoms and then there have been a couple days where i feel great and have hardly at all. like today im just tired and peeing a lot but im not naseaus and crampy like other days.

Im sorry for your previous losses.

There are some conditions that will cause an early miscarriage and these can be treated so that is something to keep in mind when deciding what time to make your appointment.  Seeing a doctor will not cause a MC, but a doctor can sometimes help prevent one.....

congrats! preggo buddy! thanks for your reply,i dont even feel pregnant,im tired but thats it,i usually have every symtom!  i lost my other baby at around 5 or 6 mnths,and they said there was nothing they could do,i know there not mirical workers but i felt as if i was just another number,if you know what i mean,so i suppose i dont have alot of fate in docs.

you should go between 10-12 weeks because there are only certain times that certain tests can be done to make sure you and the baby are healthy. i know its scary...im afraid to go to my first appt because i keep thinking theyre going to tell me im crazy and im not really pregnant even though i took hpt's and i know i am pregnant haha its silly but a lot of us feel nervous and scared that our little beans arent going to stick.....just keep your chin up your not alone! im 5 weeks too btw.
