No longer pregnant

And i miss it! Lol
My darling Scarlette Lucille was born september 2nd via c section because she was stuck in my pelvic bone since she was 10lbs 9oz.
I wonder how much she wouldve weighed if i didnt quit smoking??
I love my chubby baby ♡
Just some things to think about.
- my epidural hurt worse then the contractions i was having at 8cms
Everyone has a different experience but it felt like they were in there shattering my spine.  All the while trying to remain still
- i was shaking uncontrollably because of hormones. I walked into the hospital at 8cms!
But just know you may start shaking for a long time
- you will cry/scream/curse
-c section is scary. But your so drugged up you could fall asleep at the table if you werent trying to force yourself awake.
-they wheel you away for an hour to recovery while a bitchy nurse talks about how she cant move you because your too fat for her.
(Okay maybe that one only happened to me.)
Now. In that recovery room they were supposed to do my uterine massage
All drugged up
But nope they waited for a couple hours
Worst pain
Ever
Seriously
When i think back to it i cry
Seriously make them do it while your at least a little numb.
I cant stress that enough
But the first day i needed help to walk/use the bathroom
After that i could walk on my own
After the first week i didnt need pain meds
We all experience things differently
But its not all bad if you decide to have a c section. Yes it ***** because you really wanted to birth naturally, but in my situation im glad i didnt. It wouldve likely resulted in emergency c section.
Also
If you have any dignity/modesty
Please leave it at the door of the hospital.
You wont be needing it.

Thanks ladies :)
I felt the same way!!
I thought it was so gross how id be awake while theyre cutting me open. Lol
Creepy
And im an anxious creature  it took me a longtime and a lot of crying to decide to do the section. The deciding factor for me was i was almost 10cms and she still wouldnt drop into the birth canal. And i wouldve freaked out during an emergency
The anesthesiologist talked me through it. He said hed make sure i was numbed enough (i think he overdid it) lol
And while your on the table they do a series of tests before they make the first cut.
And like i said
Youll likely be too drugged up to care, i was laying there like yep im having a baby
Cool.
Lol
I wasnt scared anymore either
And once the baby is out you can have something for anxiety

Modesty and child birth really does not go together at all lol. Congratulations on your bundle of joy. My daughter was born in Oct 2012 and her shoulders got stuck but the doctor got her out pretty quick. I am due with my little boy in 14 days but he is already a pound heavier than my daughter was so they are thinking about inducing me either at the end of the week or Monday. I will find out for sure what day on Wednesday! :) they think it might be safer for me to go ahead with a c section and I'm terrified of the thought. It's a little freaky. I'm scared of the epidural not taking all the way or something. I'm a worry wart about stuff like that.
