one of the worst days of my life...

Not really a question just about how we spent Easter day... just spent the last 12 hours at hospital. had to take my 4 year old daughter in to get surgery because today my partner turned around and didn't see her standing right behind him and accidently knocked her into the coffee table and she spit her ear lobe in two. i have never been so stressed. she wasnt allowed to eat and i felt bad so i didn't eat all day either. Waiting in the waiting room for her to have surgery was the worst feeling I've ever had. it took so much longer then they thought and i got so upset something was wrong. it took her 4 hours just to wake up. my partner keeps blaming himself even though it was an accident and nothing i say makes him feel any better :( my stomach is killing me its so sore and I've been getting severe cramps. i tried to ignore it cause I've been more worried about my daughter but it was pretty stupid of me not to eat for over 12 hours while pregnant. i never want to experience that worry and stress again but being a parent i know im bound to many more times to come.

Thanks :) she has woke up great this morning and her ear looks really good. My partner and i are exhausted but determined to make today a fun day to make up for the kids missing out on Easter. Bub is happily kicking away which im happy about and today there will be no skipping meals or drinks for that matter cause i am definitely feeling it now, really dehydrated.

I'm sorry, being a mom is tough sometimes my little girls have been in the hospital a lot this year so I know how tough that can be. I hope your day gets better and your little girl heals up quickly.

Awe I'm sorry you have to go through that, especially on easter and especially pregnant! But you have to make sure your taking care of your other baby too!, Make sure you're eating, drinking, and not stressing (as hard as that is) as much as you can! She will be fine, a little sore I'm sure, poor girl, and your poor partner! I would blame myself too I guess! Just another bump in the road, hopefully your easter gets better!!
